3/8" PEA GRAVEL

This aggregate is regularly used for walkways, dog runs, playgrounds, and patios. Pea gravel can also be used for underground projects, such as drainage and pipe bedding and is a good choice when looking for fence post installation aggregate. Because it’s small, pea gravel will move easily if not edged properly. If using pea gravel for a walkway, have concrete blocks or landscape trim set up to keep the gravel in place.

GRAY DECOMPOSED GRANITE FINES

This Decomposed Granite, or Gray DG, is a beautiful gray/blue color.  Very soft and pleasing to the eye. Blends well with many stone options or as a pathway through the landscape. This material is used for pathways or may cover large outdoor areas as an alternative to patio stone. Packs hard and tight with roller or tamper.

MASON SAND

Mason sand is created in the same way as concrete sand but is crushed finer. It is also created by crushing granite, gneiss, limestone, or trap rock then washing it though screens to ensure the uniformity of the grains

PG & E SAND (backfill trenches)

PG&E Sand, just as its name tributes, is excellent for bedding electrical piping. It is also excellent for excavating trenches. Is a fine, washed sand made for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. and all utility companies where a fine backfill sand is required. It is gray in color.
